Power Balance Bands

1. What are your thoughts on the effectiveness of the Power Balance Bands?  What evidence did you find to support this opinion?
My thoughts are that these don't really work. The scientists kept saying that when the person knew who had the bracelet on that it would work, but when they didn't know it never worked.

2.  Make your own hypothesis on the effectiveness of the bands and describe how you would test your hypothesis (in detail).
The power bands do not make you stronger, more flexible, and balanced.
I would test my hypothesis by getting 3 or 5 of my friends and not have them wear the bracelet. I would try all the tests and write down my observations. Then I would close my eyes and only have one of my friends wearing the bracelet. I would test all of my friends with my eyes closed and try to see who has the bracelet on. I would see if i was right and maybe try it one more time just to see if I get the same outcome.

3.  Why is it necessary to look at all sides of the issue before forming a hypothesis or setting up an investigation?
All that information could help you come up with a hypothesis. You don't want to start an investigation if you don't have all the information because then you could miss something and your answer or outcome would be wrong.
